"Let's not go crazy." Ancelotti says he doesn't care about the El Clasico result
Last night, as part of their pre-season tour in the USA, El Clásico took place. Despite Real Madrid's lineup appearing stronger and more experienced, it was Barcelona who secured a narrow victory.
Last summer, Barcelona also triumphed over Los Blancos with a decisive 3-0 scoreline, but this had no lasting impact on Carlo Ancelotti's team. Real Madrid went on to win three trophies in the previous season and are soon set to compete for a fourth. As expected, Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed no concern over the result.
“It was a match with good intensity and good play. Obviously, we continue our line of preparation, and players are gradually returning. We use these games to give everyone playing time.
Let’s not go crazy. These are pre-season games, and we are missing eight players. The result is not as important to us as getting the players in good shape,” Ancelotti told Diario AS.
The Italian specialist also commented on Vinícius Júnior, who delivered an impressive performance in his 33 minutes on the field.
“He was good and looked excellent. Obviously, he worked during the break. The players are now in good physical shape and do not need extensive work.”
Such a result likely doesn't dishearten Ancelotti or Real Madrid fans, as they prioritize success in the upcoming season over friendly matches, even against Barcelona.
